How many times have you seen boutique clothing for kids, and wished the prices weren't so high? You fall in love with the outfits but know that there's no way you could afford them. If you're anything like me, it's quite often. I love dressing my kids in fun and playful prints, with a new and exciting twist. 

In an effort to find a place that's affordable, while also maintaining quality, I started searching like a crazy person. I came across several designers, but one in particular stood out. All of the outfits offered are beautiful, and priced reasonably. I couldn't believe it! All these years of searching and I finally found what I was looking for!

Dashingly Dainty Designs is an online based children's boutique, run by a woman named Shannon....a mother of two! As if being a parent isn't enough to handle, she also hand makes all of her amazing designs. Everything she offers, she makes herself. I love that about her company. There's no big corporation inflation. Just a hard working woman who enjoys what she does, and boy does it show!

After drooling (lol) over all of the amazing outfits she's made, I felt an intense urge to contact her about doing a review. Something inside of me said "don't let this one get away". So, I reached out to her and anxiously awaited a reply. Much to my surprise, I didn't have to wait long! How she has time to be a mother, sew, and respond to inquiries at a rapid rate, is well beyond me. She's like a super mom! I admire her on so many levels.

Here is a photo of the outfit I was sent to review. Normally, I am not a fan of clothing with such bold floral prints, but I actually love this one. There's something about it that catches my eye. Maybe it's the color combination. Maybe it's the cut of the romper. Whatever it is, I love it!

Modeling this precious one piece romper is my 2 year old daughter, Haylie. Normally, getting her dressed takes a while. Pants, shirt, socks, doing her hair, etc. Not this time! She was dressed and ready for pictures in a matter in seconds.  All she had to do was "step in" to the outfit from the top. I didn't even have to untie it at the shoulders.

We all know how fast children grow out of clothing. It can cost a fortune! That's not so much of a concern as this outfit ties. Simply loosen it (untie it and retie it to fit your little one). You get more bang for your buck.

I had the opportunity to inspect every aspect of this outfit. I sat and admired every inch and every stitch. I couldn't find even one imperfection and believe me, I looked. She really does an exquisite job. It's very well made.

I think what I love most about her clothing, is that it's true to size. I have a hard time shopping for my children (as well as myself), because the manufacturers sizing charts seem to be much different then what a persons true size is. I can buy a 2T for her in one brand and have it be to small. Then buy a 2T in another brand, and have it be to big. It's a guessing game that you just can't win!  With Dashingly Dainty Designs, that doesn't appear to be an issue. The romper fit my daughter like it was custom made, just for her!

The little details are so darling. The adorable ruffles at the bottom are oober cute. You can see the beautiful color combination she selected and how well they flow together. I also love how the area across the chest  is sewn with an elastic, creating a tube top effect.

I personally feel that this outfit would flatter any little girl, regardless of her build. It's cut beautifully so it flows as your child moves. The material is fairly light weight, yet thick enough to be worn during the hotter months (with a long sleeve shirt underneath).

I wanted to include a photo from behind as well, so you could really grasp this masterpiece from all angles. Notice how the length is exactly where it should be. The ruffles at the bottom fall how they're meant to, without dragging on the ground. That's an issue we've had in the past, and because of it, the bottoms of her pants would get dirty and torn up (more wasted money).

Now, for those of you who don't have a little girl, or wish to dress your little dude in boutique clothing....I have some great news for you. Dashingly Dainty Designs also makes and sells the cutest boys clothing too! That's quite uncommon. I've seen a few places offer boys apparel but everything looked the same and didn't "wow" me. I want my first reaction to be "oh my gosh, I have to have that". Not, "eh, that's cute I guess". After all, shouldn't our boys be just as fashionable as our girls?
