FREE Android Apps that will save you time and money:
Check Points – Get “checkpoints rewards” when you shop. Whenever you go somewhere to shop, check in with check points and earn rewards for checking in and potentially get more rewards for scanning products. Points can earn you rewards and you can redeem your points for rewards like gift cards and other rewards.
Kids Eat Free – Lists local area restaurants where kids can eat free and during which night of the week.
Kroger’s App with Coupons – Get Kroger’s app and load digital coupons to your store card for use at Kroger.
Target App – allows you to search and browse, view their weekly ad, find a store and use a barcode scanner.
Cellfire – offers digital coupons you can upload to your Kroger card. You can upload coupons in two ways, either on their website on a computer or you can download their app and use it to upload coupons to your Kroger customer card.
Barcode Scanner – Use the barcode scanner to scan a product, find its price, search for it online and compare prices online.
Scanlife – another free barcode scanner that allows you scan products in stores or search for products online.
The Coupons App – displays local coupons for local area stores and also allows you to search for a specific store to find coupons. Plus it displays the cheapest local gas price that is near you at the top of the application. If you tap on the gas price it will display which gas station has the lowest price near you and other gas stations with comparable prices near you too. This is a great tool to use to look for coupons at restaurants and retailers! This application also allows you to search for coupons by barcode as well. Awesome right?!
Foursquare - allows you to check into places locally like restaurants, retailers, and other businesses. They offer discounts or rewards to certain local places that you check into. If you check in frequently and become a “mayor” of a place, you could find an offer to get something FREE or get a discount. Right now there are not a lot of local places participating that offer discounts or rewards through Foursquare, but in time it will grow and so will the businesses that participate.
GeoQpons – lists coupons to many different types of stores, restaurants, retailers, and much more for your local area. You can view offers for various different categories including auto, dining, home, shops, health and beauty, and general. Many local offers are available through Valpak that you can view through GeoQpons.
Grocery iQ - This grocery shopping application which was created by Coupons.com is an great and effective shopping tool. You can do everything with this grocery shopping app including making grocery lists, scan barcodes of items you frequently buy, share your grocery lists with others and send coupons right to your store loyalty card. Plus, you can add different stores that you shop at with multiple lists. Having a consistent grocery list for each store you shop at is a great way to keep your grocery expenses down. This is one of the BEST grocery shopping apps available, it is a must have if you are a money-saver shopper!
Grocery Pal – Grocery Pal allows you to view your local grocery weekly sales ad and specials right on your phone. So if you want to know what’s on sale at Food Lion, Kroger, or other various grocery retailers in our local area you can view the products as well as the prices that are on sale each week with this app.
GTracker – GTracker or Grocery Tracker is another shopping list creator that you can use. You can add different stores for multiple shopping lists, add grocery items to your list by either selecting from a pre-set list or searching for an item to add, keep an inventory of what you have on hand, add recipes, and view Cellfire coupons with this app. You can also add the prices of items and check them off your list as you are shopping by adding them to your “cart” in the app.
I Love Free Things – I love free things lists things you can get for free and shows you where and how to get them for free. It displays a continuously updated listing of free samples and other great freebies.
MobiDeals – The MobiDeals application allows you to search for deals in our local area for many different categories and types of deals.
Coupon Online Codes – this app allows you to find online coupon codes so you can save money when making purchases online.
Seasonal Harvest Lite – Seasonal Harvest Lite allows you to enter your local state and find out what types of produce are in season. Knowing which types of produce are in season is important because you usually can save money by purchasing produce that’s in season.
Shopkick – Shopkick displays offers to local retailers and you can earn points by clicking on stores and by scanning special Shopkick items in the store you go to. Use Shopkick’s offers to get discounts on items at various retailers and earn points for shopping. Scan items throughout the store that are listed in the Shopkick app and earn even more points to redeem for rewards. You can redeem rewards for gift cards and other items.
Google Shopper - Search for a product by image, barcode, voice, or typing what you’re looking for. Once the product is identified, you’ll find a product description, online reviews, price comparisons, local stores that carry the product, and even detailed directions on how to get there.

Bank of America – If you bank with Bank of America, you can download their free app to access account information right from your phone.
Key Ring – Key Ring allows you to input and store all of your customer loyalty card numbers into your phone so you have them all in one place and no longer need to carry around all those bulky cards in your wallet. When you want to use your customer card at Kroger for example, just open up your Key Ring app, click on Kroger and you can view your stored card number, as well as a “card view” for a cashier to scan. This is a great app to organize all of your store customer cards.
