About The Owner, in her own words:

Hi, I’m Kristine. I have 2 beautiful children ages 7 and 1. When my daughter, Megan, was born, she had a full head of gorgeous brown hair! Within a month it was down to her eyebrows, and it needed to be tucked back.  I had a hard time finding quality hair accessories for her, and I liked the idea of them being handmade. The need to create has always lived within me, and so Positively Whimsy Hair Accessories was born in 2010. I love creating happy little things…boutique-style hair clips, shabby chic headbands and other trendy creations.  My heart dances with joy as I make these gems. I hope you enjoy them as much as I have enjoyed making them for you. XOXO

The Review:
Recently, I participated in a giveaway and won an item from PositivelyWhimsy. Of course I was excited, because her items looked so pretty and classy. I immediately contacted her and inquired about reviewing the item and possibly offering our fans a giveaway item from her. She was very quick to respond and generous enough to say YES! The items shipped SUPER fast and arrived in perfect condition. The packaging was so pretty and added a special touch when opening my mail. :) It was neatly wrapped in pink and green tissue paper and tied up with twine. She included a sweet handwritten note that was also attached to congratulate me on winning. You can see all the pictures of the packaging and items below. Each item was not only wrapped up nicely, but also enclosed in a plastic package and sealed and both were attached to her special cards, just the way you would get an item if purchased in a store. Very professional and I was very impressed by the way the items arrived.

The item I won from Sara's Savings & More's giveaway was the Pink Shabby Chic Chiffon Flower Hair Clip. The picture did not give this Hair Clip the credit it deserves. It's so pretty and unique. The edges are frayed and it remarkably resembles a flower. The 'clip' is an alligator clip and is covered in matching ribbon on the top side of the clip, leaving the bottom side uncovered - which tends to allow the clip to stay in your childs hair better. The clip is also very strong and not loose in any way. This is a must have for my daughters hair because they have fine, silky hair and some clips tend to slide out. The Pink Shabby Chic Chiffon Flower is perfect for a pretty summer dress, a formal dress, or an everyday outfit for your child. Very versatile.

Next up, is the item I was sent to review. The White Singed Satin Skinny Headband has 6 layers of GORGEOUS singed satin in beautiful white with a clear glass beaded center. Each layer was hand cut, singed and then hand sewn by Kristine herself, making each flower unique. The flower is attached to a white skinny headband sized toddler/adult. Infant/Toddler sizes are also available on her website. It measures approximately 2 1/4". The flower is absolutely TO DIE FOR!! It's beautiful! Not only is the flower perfectly layered and singed, but it has little specs of glitter in it for that extra special flare! It's beautiful, but simple. Very elegant and classy. PERFECT accessory for a flower girl outfit or even everyday wear. It's attached to the headband sturdily and doesn't feel loose when I pull on it. Again, that's important when you have toddlers. This item was also wrapped up like a gift, enclosed in sealed plastic, and attached to an adorable display card.
